About Excel

Microsoft Excel is a powerful spreadsheet application for data analysis, calculations, and visualization, enabling users to organize and process data with formulas, charts, and pivot tables

What it does in Excel

  • Reads and updates Excel as part of the work you hand it
  • Keeps Excel in step with its email, calendar and docs
  • Asks before anything that can't be undone
  • Records every step in its activity log

How it works

  1. 1

    Add a teammate

It gets its own account in your Google Workspace, with its own email, calendar and Drive.

  2. 2

    Connect Excel

From its Apps tab in a click, with the Excel account your team chooses. Or just ask it, and it sends you the link.

  3. 3

    Hand it the work

Email it, message it in Chat or Slack, or mention it in a doc. It asks before anything that matters.

Questions

How does it connect to Excel?

From the teammate's Apps tab in a click, or just ask it and it sends you the link. It connects with the Excel account your team chooses, and each teammate has its own connections, so you decide exactly what each one can reach.

What does it do in Excel without asking?

The everyday work it is there for: reading, updating and keeping things current. It asks first before contacting someone new, spending money, or anything that can't be undone, and every step is in its activity log.

Does it need its own Excel seat?

No. It works through the connection your team sets up, so there is no extra Excel seat to buy for it.

Is Delegmate made by Excel?

No. Delegmate is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Excel. Excel is a trademark of its owner.
